Long Week

We have had a long couple of weeks. Dakota and Hunter were both home with pneumonia last week. They are feeling much better now. Its funny how kids are. Well at least my kids. They have pneumonia and they are still bouncing off the walls. A whole week home from school. Both of them. Its been awhile since they have both been home sick let alone for a whole week.. Glad they are feeling better. Andrew was feeling the crud too but he managed to make it to school.. Thank god. This week has been good. Oh maybe not all that good. My car broke down. I need a new alternator. Ugh. A good friend of ours is going to put it in for me so hopefully it will be fixed here soon. Beng has the van all jacked up because he is putting new brakes on it. So Im driving Bobs truck. Not only is it huge but its a gas hog. But at least I have some wheels to drive. I shouldn't be complaining. Ill quit. Business has been picking up alittle. Rented another unit this week. YIPPEE.... That's always a good thing. Anyways, Im posting these pictures of the kids that my mom took the when we went to visit. I just think they are so funny. I hope you get a kick out of them. I did. They look like a bunch of caged animals. Proceed with care. There funny. Gotta run. TA TA

Same Age

These two little girls are the same age and oh soooooo cute.

First Girl Scout Cookie

My friends Amy and her daughter Gracie Lynn came over last night for dinner. It was a good time. We had good food a glass of wine and lots of good talks (maybe gossip). Its nice to have a girlfriend like that. I forget sometimes how nice it is to have a good friend to talk to and tell all your problems to. She gets an ear full every time too. Sorry Amy. Although I usually get and ear full too so we are even. We have been friends for a longtime so we share alot of things, bad and good. Her daughter is the cutest. We gave her, her first girl scout cookie. It was so funny. She sat on the floor and chewed that thing up. She loved it. She isn't even a year old and she is walking all over the place. It wont be long and Amy you wont be able to catch her. She will be running from you. It was fun. Cant wait to do it again. Love ya girlie.. TA TA

Oregon Trip

We went to Portland this weekend for our nephews 8th birthday. I cant believe how big he is getting. We got to visit with Uncle Bart, Auntie Chris & Cameron. It was alot of fun. We left Saturday morning and got there about 5pm checked into the Hotel and let the kids take a quick dip in the pool and then headed off to Uncle Bart's house. We got to see the new house he moved into and see the beautiful engagement ring that he bought Chris. Its gorgeous. Then off to Chuckie Cheese we went. Where a kid can be a kid. The place was great. We ate lots of pizza and the kids got to run around like crazy kids and play all sorts of games. Its tiring going to a place like that. We got back to the Hotel and of course we had to go back in the pool. This time Andrew and I joined Dakota and Hunter. It was alot of fun. I cant remember the last time I was in a pool. Let alone a bathingsuit Andrew and I had a couple of swimming races back and fourth across the pool. Guess who won? Andrew of course. Then I got to relax in the hot tub for a short period of time. The next day was Cameron's party. The theme was Star Wars. Chris had costumes and light savers for all the kids. They looked great. She did a really good job planning a party for an 8 year old. Cheers to you Chris. Fabulous job. I was impressed. We got to meet her family and they are very nice and should take Bart and Cameron in very well. They are very nice people. Then it was time to hit the road for the long trip home. Had a safe trip home. We made it. I think we stopped to Pee about 10 times. TA TA

Kiddos

Well, Its been pretty quiet around here lately.. Hunter just started wrestling so thing should start to get alittle more heck tick. He will also be doing t-ball so he is going to be a busy little boy. Dakota will soon be doing karate. She will end up kicking some butt soon.. I'm getting alittle nervous though. It seems like we are going to be on the run a whole lot in the next couple of months. Im scared. Kids going here kids going there. What have I got myself into.. Life I guess. Keeping them busy is good though. It will keep them out of trouble in the long run. I hope. Cross your fingers for me. We are coming up on graduation for Andy. Can you believe it.. I cant. He will be 18 in a couple of months too.. He seems to think that he will be moving out then.. Funny huh. Im trying to tell him he need to go to school and get a job before he can think about moving out. He just looks at me like Im crazy. I guess I cant blame him. I was the same way when I was 18. If he only new. Now I can say like my parents used to say. "Damn kids these days". Have a great rest of the week. TA TA
