Better Day

I had a way better day yesterday. Thank god. Nancy came all the way up here to bring me a breve. MMMMMM..... Those things are so tasty. That was a total treat. Plus I got new mascara to. Every girl loves getting a new tube of mascara. Thank you so much. It was really nice of you. Your the best. The weather was awesome yesterday to. I had to go work the concessions stand for Hunters T-Ball team.. Holy Cow. That place is crazy. I have never seen so many hamburger's, hot dags, nachos, and candy go out in my life. I worked the Nacho, Hot dog, Chili, and soda. The pop machine failed in the first hour. There were some unhappy ball players. They had to settle for Gatorade. I'm not sure I will be volunteering for that again. It was fun but crazy and busy. I get enough of those duty's at home. Hope everyone enjoys there weekend. Its supposed to be really nice.. I will.. Life

Man, life these days is hard. Having three kids and a husband that's in a wheelchair is draining. As much as I love them all, I'm tired. Its been a long month. I need a vacation. Dishes, laundry, taxi, baseball, karate, grocery's, cleaning the floors, running a business 7 days a week, mowing the lawn, digging holes, cooking, more laundry, feeding, eating (trying to), answering 3 different phones, teenagers who don't mind.. Just keeping up with it all has been a challenge. I can do it though, I think. I just need to vent. Its OK to do that. Right? I love it all though, that's why I'm still here. I'm not a quitter. I just need someone to feel sorry for me I guess. I'm venting.. Having them all make my life so much better. I really would be lost without them. Anyways, Hunter had an awesome game last night, Dakota spent most of her time catching fish at the pond next to the ball fields. Andrew is out and about with his friends. Being 18 does that to you. He hates us all right now. We are the biggest assholes in the world. He will need something soon. I'm sure I will be seeing him in the near future. LOL.. I am doing this facebook thing now and I am able to catch up with alot of my old friends that I haven't seen nore heard from in ages. I'm loving it. Very addicting though. I am finding time to dink around on that website.. HE HE.. Hmmmmm...... What else. Not much. I am hoping to get Dakotas karate pics posted by this weekend. Wish me luck.. OK gotta run.. I have a customer.. TA TA

Juan De Fuca Arts Festival

Dakota won the art contest at her school so she was able to have her picture that she drew up at the Juan De Fuca Arts Festival.. It is great. We are so proud of her. So this weekend we hopped in the car and went to take a look at it up on display for everyone to see. She was very excited about it and it made our day. She did such a great job. I remember being a child and winning something, it was just the coolest thing ever. It always makes you feel so good inside. What a great feeling. Im glad she was able to have a memory like that. You know she is so artistic, she is always creating some new thing at home with every little nick knacks she can get ahold of. She even makes cloths for her barbies. Maybe she will be a famous designer one day. That would be awesome. You never know. The Festival was a really cool place to walk around and look at all the crazy things people make and sell. I even got to try some organic coffee. Wasn't to bad. Any ways gotta run.. Enjoy. TA TA

Long couple of weeks

Well, it has been a crazy last couple of weeks. Beng went into the hospital to have his pump that he just got put in taken out. He has to have it replaced every 5 years. It got a really bad infection and they had to remove it. He ended up going into septic shock from the infection and then went through withdrawals from the meds that were in his pump for the last 5 years. He had that put in 5 years ago and has done wonders for him. It sure makes his life a whole lot easier. Not so much spasticity in his legs. So when they removed it they did not give him enough oral medication and he ended up going through sever withdrawals from it. It was the scariest thing that I have ever had to deal with minus when he was injured. He was put on a ventilator for a few days and we almost lost him once again. I think I have been put to the test enough. I pray that I don't have to go through another one. He is getting better now and doing his IV antibiotics at home. Awesome. Its nice that they can do that now. That would have made for another 2 weeks in the hospital. I had to drive all the way to Tacoma the long way to because the hood canal bridge is closed until the middle of June. It took me 3 1/2 hours to get there and 3 1/2 to get home. Trying to balance being a mother and a wife was very hard this time. I wanted to be there for for him so that he wouldn't be alone when he woke up from the ventilator but then I had to be home for the kids because they needed there mom. Was a big pain, but I pulled through. Anyways, kids are great now that we are both home and things are looking up for Beng. We just have to get these spasms under control and we will be set. No more pumps. He is way to scared. Thanks to everyone who prayed for us and thanks for all your good thoughts. It helped. Love you all. Oh Andrew had his senior prom. He looked so handsom. Im posting a picture.. Wen TA TA

Back in Hospital

Beng went in for surgery a few weeks ago to get his pump replaced. Well, he is back in the hospital because it had gotten really infected underneath his pump. He went to the ER up here on Wednesday night and the gave him an IV of antibiotics then on Thursday he called his Dr that put the pump in and they told him to get down to St. Joe's so that they could take it out. What a drag. Not just that he has to go get the thing taken out but that he had to drive all the way around because the Hood canal bridge is closed. Talk about a pain in the ass. So he got out of surgery late Thursday night and is now in recovery. Still there. we are hoping that they let him come home today. He is ready. He cant stand to be in the hospital. I really cant blame him. So keep your fingers crossed that he will come home today. Its going to be a rough month for him. That pump helped keep all the spasms down in his legs and now that he doesn't have the pump in his legs are jumping all over the place and its really uncomfortable and painful for him. It sucks. Not only for him but for me. ( have have to deal with him). That's scary. Wish me luck. LOL.

Dakota has her second day of Karate today. She really likes it. there's another girl in the class that had taken a liking to her and has been doing this for awhile. She helps Dakota and pals around with her. Its nice. We get to order her Gee today. Is that the right word Gee and is that how you spell it. Hmmmmm..... Hunter has his 2nd T-ball game today to. He just loves it. It should be alot of fun. Hopefully the sun will stay out and it wont get to cold. Andrew is 18 now so he is out and about with his friends most of the time. I see him during the week but on the weekend he is dippin out as he would say. Ok well I will keep you posted in Bengy and the kids. TA TA

T-Ball / Halibut

Well, They went off to go fishing again ( Dad and Bob). They did get another fish. Yummy. This one was alittle smaller but we all got to take alittle bit this time too. I think I might end up getting burned out on Halibut. Who knows maybe not. They had a great time.

Hunter had his first t-ball game last night. He did a great job. Those little boys and girls are so cute out there. You really have to keep your eyes on the ball or you will end up with a ball on top of your noggin. LOL. You never know which way that ball will go when those kids are throwing it around. It was rainy and cold out there but they made it through. Dakota was really bord and she wanted to go home. But once she found some other little girls to play with she was ready to stay and have a good time.. All in all was a great day. TA TA
